Frequently asked questions.
How long will appointments last?
The length of your session depends on several factors.
For most clients, insurance regulations define a standard session as 50 minutes. This format typically suits individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns.
Unless otherwise discussed with your therapist, you can plan for 50-minute sessions.
If you are paying privately, session length may be adjusted collaboratively between you and your therapist, with corresponding fees applied.
What can I expect from these appointments?
In the first few sessions, you’ll share your story, get a feel for our connection, and begin shaping what you want from this space. Together, we’ll set intentions and build a foundation for your work.
As we move forward, sessions become more focused on practice—exploring patterns, feeling through emotions, and trying new ways of being. I’ll guide and support you, but real growth happens when you take what we explore here into your life. This is where change begins to take root.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes! I offer online therapy for clients through a secure, easy-to-use telehealth platform called Jane. It’s a flexible way to connect from the comfort of your own space—whether that’s your couch, your studio, or somewhere in between.
I’m not a creative person — can we still work together?
Absolutely. While I specialize in supporting artists and those living creative lives, my work is for anyone curious about themselves and their growth. You don’t need to identify as a “creative” to benefit from this space — you just need a willingness to explore, feel, and be human.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and a late cancellation or missed session prevents another client from taking that slot. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice or miss your appointment, you will be charged the full session fee.
We encourage you to contact us as soon as you know you can’t make your appointment so we can reschedule and offer your original time slot to another client.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session online through my booking page below. If you don’t see available times listed, it may just mean my current schedule is full or I’m booking manually. In that case, feel free to reach out directly by email, and I’ll do my best to find a time that works.
If I’m not accepting new clients or have a waitlist, that will be noted on the booking page. You’re always welcome to email me to be added to the waitlist or ask about future availability.
