Our Approaches

Aside from my main approaches, I also draw on modalities from family system theory, creative expression,

  • Somatic psychotherapy is used to support clients in reconnecting with their bodies as a source of insight, healing, and resilience. I believe that our bodies hold the stories of our lives and often carry emotions, trauma, and stress long after our minds have moved on. By gently tuning into physical sensations, breath, and nervous system patterns, we can begin to understand what the body is trying to communicate. This is incorporate through grounding techniques, mindful movement, breathwork, and body-based tools to help you process what’s been held and find new ways of relating to yourself.

  • Transpersonal therapy is a holistic approach that integrates psychology with spiritual practices to support healing and growth. It addresses the whole person—mind, body, emotions, creativity, relationships, and spirit, emphasizing meaning, purpose, and positive transformation. This approach honors the belief that healing involves not just the individual, but their connection to something greater.

  • Nature-based therapy supports healing, presence, and connection to something greater than ourselves. Nature offers a grounding, non-judgmental space that helps us slow down, regulate our nervous systems, and reconnect with the rhythms of life. Whether it’s through virtual mindful walks, post-outdoor sessions, working with natural imagery, or simply inviting in metaphors from the natural world, this approach helps clients access a sense of calm, clarity, and belonging. I believe that healing doesn’t always have to happen inside four walls. The natural world can be a powerful co-therapist as it holds space, mirrors emotions, and offers a deeper perspective. This work is especially helpful for those who feel disconnected, stuck creatively, or overwhelmed by daily life. By returning to nature, even in small ways, we remember our place in the larger web of life and often find a renewed sense of purpose, peace, and inner strength.

  • A playful, inspiring approach for artists and creatives to reconnect with their creative voice. Through art, movement and storytelling, creative expression allows us to celebrate curiosity, experimentation, and the joy of expression, without judgment or expectation. For those exploring their inner world in therapy, this approaches offers a space to bring deep expression to work alongside the core therapeutic approaches and modalities such as nature-based therapy and somatic approaches.
